The goal of the I Want YOU for Mixed Reality campaign is to encourage UH students to start asking questions about AR and VR. These technologies are going to keep becoming a bigger and bigger part of our everyday lives, whether we buy a VR headset or not. AR and VR are already being used for things like employee training, giving lectures, and communication. Our students should be prepared for the change in the global economy that is currently happening because of these new technologies.
It is all well and good to have questions, but to get answers to those questions is much more valuable. Which is why the I Want YOU for Mixed Reality campaign gives multiple opportunities to ask and get answers to questions about mixed reality. On the website is a page for submitting questions and seeing other people’s questions. We will answer a few of those questions through posts on our Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Some other questions will be answered in our Q&A live-stream on Wednesday, April 12th @ 11:00a.m. on Twitch.
Dr. Tony Liao, an expert in the field of augmented and virtual reality, will be holding a live-streamed Q&A on Twitch. During the stream, he will go through the questions that you send in through social media. If you have questions about augmented or virtual reality, this is how you can get answers.
